The teapot is a rectangular block with an angular handle. The spout is a graceful, fluid counterpoint to the angles. The finial is also a block with small raised panels that suggest a tiled effect.

The complex body of the teapot has visible depth, since it is overlaid with panels of cut out, stylized diamond shapes.
