The shape of this beautiful Buddhist Sutra teapot is tapered from the wide shoulder up to the lip and down to the ring at the bottom.
The finial and handle are round. It’s a pretty stone blue with a brown clay interior.
Delicate Chinese calligraphy, golden in color, circles the lid and shoulder of the teapot.
The script refers to a traditional Chinese poem. This is a very elegant piece.
